These are brief excursions into certain ideas from the practice of Yoga that I feel are essential to creating a complete practice. I use the term contemplations instead of meditations to refer to the active mono-tasking that takes place. To contemplate is the action of looking thoughtfully at something for a long time, in deep reflective thought. In my opinion, this action found in contemplation is what separates it from the "being" of meditation. Some of these will be actual experiential practices, while others are simply the precursor of introducing an idea to use in your practice. Enjoy the journey of "why", before you seek the implementation of "how".
